What you’ll do

You’ll play a key supporting role in the commercial and financial management of our Rail Infrastructure projects in NSW. Working alongside an experienced Commercial Project Manager and Project Manager, you will:

• Support commercial and financial processes across multi‑year infrastructure projects.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.
• Help identify project risks and opportunities and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Support contract and claim processes, working closely with the project’s commercial and contract management team.
• Assist in preparing analyses, documentation, and customer‑ready materials.
• Collaborate with project teams, customer representatives, and internal stakeholders to keep commercial matters running smoothly.
• Learn how to apply Siemens’ project management and financial reporting standards through hands‑on exposure.

This role will grow with you — as you gain experience, you’ll take on more responsibility with a clear pathway to becoming a Commercial Project Manager.

What you bring

• A background in business, finance, commerce, accounting, or project administration.
• Experience in project environments, financial analysis, business administration, or similar (1–3 years ideal but flexible).
• A curious mindset and eagerness to learn complex commercial concepts over time.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills — you're comfortable working with many people.
• Solid skills in Excel and an interest in learning tools like SAP.
• A proactive, organised approach to managing tasks and deadlines.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
