Position Overview
The Strategy & Business Development Manager for Mexico is responsible for driving structured, data-driven commercial growth through strategic account enablement and proactive public-sector orchestration
This role partners closely with the Head of Country, Commercial Leaders, and Business Areas to strengthen competitive positioning, improve win probability, and elevate key customer relationships from transactional to strategic—particularly within priority public and large institutional accounts.
The position focuses on four strategic pillars:
1. Strategic Account Intelligence & Enablement
2. Public Sector Growth Orchestration
3. Strategic PMO for High-Impact Commercial Initiatives
4. Identification and Structuring of Enterprise Services Opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Account Intelligence & Enablement
Support priority Strategic Accounts through structured insights, including:
• Installed base intelligence and lifecycle analysis
• Competitive positioning and tender history analysis
• Clinical differentiation insights
• Opportunity mapping beyond active tenders
• Develop and maintain structured Strategic Account Plans for priority accounts.
• Provide actionable recommendations to Sales and Business Areas to increase win probability
2. Public Sector Strategy & Tender Anticipation
• Lead proactive mapping of public procurement cycles, decision routes, and key influencers in Mexico (e.g., IMSS, ISSSTE, SSA and other public institutions).
• Anticipate tender waves and identify opportunities before formal publication.
• Support the design and refinement of the public-sector Go-To-Market model.
• Strengthen institutional engagement by enabling structured access strategies.
3. Strategic PMO for Commercial Initiatives
• Act as PMO for high-impact commercial projects, particularly within the public sector.
• Ensure governance discipline, milestone tracking, stakeholder alignment, and structured progress reporting.
• Orchestrate cross-BA collaboration to avoid fragmentation and maximize strategic coherence.
4. Enterprise Services Opportunity Structuring
• Identify and structure Enterprise Services opportunities within priority accounts.
• Assess institutional readiness and value hypotheses.
• Define stakeholder maps and decision milestones to mature opportunities.
• Enable multi-solution value propositions aligned with long-term partnerships.
Qualifications:
· University Degree
· Experience in the Healthcare market and business
· Experience in Project Management (PMO)
