In this role, you are responsible for preparing professional quotations for industrial projects, manage the end-to -end proposal process including power distribution product such as motor starters and integrated control solutions. This role provides technical and commercial proposal throughout the quotation process, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, risk management, and alignment with business objectives.

What will you do:

  • Lead the preparation of accurate, competitive, and timely quotations for motor starters, control panels, and integrated electrical systems
  • Analyze customer RFQs, specifications, drawings, and commercial requirements to define full scope of supply
  • Ensure all quotations comply with applicable technical standards, internal policies, and margin expectations
  • Collaborate with Engineering to propose value‑engineered and optimized technical solutions
  • Support Sales with technical explanations, pricing rationale, and scope clarifications
  • Participate in customer discussions related to quotation assumptions, alternatives, and clarifications as required
  • Maintain quotation documentation, assumptions, and approval records

What will you need to succeed?

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in quotation, estimating, or technical sales support within an industrial or electrical manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience with engineering‑to‑order or project‑based electrical solutions
  • Strong knowledge of motor starters, MCCs, control panels, VFDs, and low‑voltage power distribution
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, specifications, customer RFQs, and BOMs
  • Working knowledge of CSA, UL, IEC, and NEC standards and their commercial impact
  • Ability to identify technical risks and compliance requirements early in the quotation phase
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high‑value quotations with margin accountability
  • Customer‑focused, strategic mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Bilingual in English and French, written and spoken is preferred
[Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 70,000.00 CAD - $ 90,000.00 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of up to 10% of base salary, based on Company performance metrics.]
