The Onshore Project Manager is part of the global project organization and is responsible for managing the customer interface, implementing the onshore scope, and leading the local project team. The overall project is managed by the Project Manager at the German headquarters.

This role is a general onshore PM position for Siemens Mobility Taiwan. Starting point will be in Taoyuan, focusing on the DC Switchgear Supply within the Taoyuan Metro Green line Project. The Onshore Project Manager may also assume responsibility for other projects involving signaling
scopes and could be expected to manage up to two projects in parallel.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the onshore representative and liaison to the customer and external partners.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the customer and the Overall Project Manager, ensuring that information and requests are properly understood and communicated to the project team.
  • Lead the onshore team to achieve project targets by organizing, prioritizing, and ensuring timely completion of work packages.
  • Develop and execute the project realization strategy in accordance with the contract.
  • Manage the project schedule and provide contractual and execution-oriented solutions to external influences, such as civil work delays or changes initiated by the customer.
  • Manage subcontractors for third-party supplies and installation activities.
  • Monitor and actively manage onshore project costs to ensure they remain within target budgets.
  • Oversee technical progress and performance, manage time schedules, and establish control points.
  • Oversee requirements management for the local Taiwan scope.
  • Make decisions and implement acceleration plans when necessary.
  • Approve and release official project documents.

Requirements:
  • Experience in E&M system project management, preferably in metro projects.
  • Familiarity with Taiwan metro customer and operator structures, particularly in signaling projects ; power supply is a plus.
  • Experience leading a team of approximately 5 people and managing subcontractors.
  • Strong communication skills with different stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Ability to control and manage schedules, set control points, and make decisions to implement an acceleration plan as needed
