Your impact
- Provide practical legal advice for the Factory Automation business with a focus on tasks such as bid preparation, contract drafting, review, and negotiation and claims management and coordination with the legal professionals advising the business in the regions (matrix organization)
- Support in developing innovative and scalable business models and standardization including drafting of respective contract templates
- Ensure effective legal risk management by addressing legal risks and opportunities and applying a legal and entrepreneurial perspective
- Close collaboration within Legal for DI and with other functions (e.g. CMP, DP, compliance, tax, HR, strategy, quality, etc.)
Role Requirements
- Education: You are a fully qualified lawyer with excellent academic credentials
- Experience and Skills:
- Post-qualified experience in the relevant fields of work are a plus but not a must
- Legal expertise and hands-on knowledge in international project business, new digital business models and cloud services, particularly in developing new business models, bid preparation, risk identification and assessment (LoA), contract negotiations, and claims management
- Negotiation and claim management skills combined with effective communication across all management levels
- Interest in optimizing and simplifying inhouse legal advice through standardization, automation, and harmonization, as well as interest in legal tech
- Ways of Working:
- Passion in respect of working on international topics across geographies and cultures
- Strong analytical skills, good business sense, a results-oriented working mode and a hands-on mentality
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to quickly build trustful relationships with business partners and colleagues across functions both locally and internationally to jointly tackle complex issues
- Languages: Business-fluent English and German language skills, both verbal and written required.
