Position Overview:
At Siemens Digital Industries Software, you will join a globally distributed team that’s leading the future of marketing to our customers. We believe in people-first marketing and people-first work! We are looking for a Demand Generation Intern to help us deliver scalable marketing initiatives that reach audiences at both the local and global level. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in demand generation. You will have the opportunity and be tasked with working with regional teams around the globe. Together, we will continually review performance and results to ensure targets and goals are exceeded. Your ability to execute and promote clear communications with help business find, adopt, and expand their use of our rapidly growing Xcelerator portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist marketing plans to support strategic goals and meet/exceed pipeline and revenue targets.
- Partner with the global industry planner to understand investment and priorities to help shape program activities.
- Collaborate with the execution team in optimally deploying, executing and optimizing the annual and quarterly program plans to realize the team’s goals.
- Contribute to accuracy of program forecasts and analyze campaign performance across the demand waterfall including pipeline volume and progression.
- Help to communicate and educate cross-functional teams about new and upcoming marketing activities, including global and local programs to facilitate alignment.
- May include responsibilities in several areas of marketing including project management, market research, advertising and public relations, marketing communications; work with team members at all levels to identify, develop, and implement effective and productive marketing strategies and plans.
Requirements:
- Currently an undergraduate student in pursuit of a Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising/Public Relations, Data Analytics/Statistics or relevant degree.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
- Familiarity with demand generation performance management including demand waterfall.
- Demonstrated analytical and execution capabilities with experience in Marketing and Sales environments and familiarity with inbound marketing strategies and implementation.
- Fluent in English and highly effective and communicating across all mediums; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
- Effectively leverage project management tools to keep initiatives on track and ensure tactical plans stay aligned with strategic objectives, consistently delivering results on time and within budget.
- Strong interest in B2B sales cycle and finding opportunities to improve demand generation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration; B2B software industry and able to market to a range of B2B buying groups using a wide variety of offers and delivery mechanisms is a plus.
- Motivated, inquisitive and persistent; readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements; highly collaborative and focused on business and customer impact.

The hourly pay range for this position is 18-50 per hour for first time Interns or 18-50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
