We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Performance Manager to join us at Siemens Mobility – Rolling Stock Customer Services. Based at our Temple Mills depot in London, you will be responsible for developing performance indicators to monitor the allocated fleet(s) within Rail Systems, using KPI insights to identify opportunities to improve fleet reliability and overall performance.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Developing and managing performance KPIs that monitor fleet reliability and using data insights to drive continuous improvements.
  • Leading the performance regime for your allocated fleet(s) to ensure contractual and operational requirements are fully met.
  • Investigating technical issues and service‑affecting incidents, analysing root causes, and driving effective corrective actions.
  • Owning and delivering the Reliability Improvement Plan (RIP) to enhance performance outcomes and support long‑term reliability growth.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customer engineering teams, providing day‑to‑day performance insights and presenting results at monthly contractual reviews.
  • Negotiating contractual responsibilities for technical incidents and producing clear, high‑quality performance and reliability reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with customers and internal partners to support current operational needs and future opportunities.
  • Leading and developing the Fleet Performance Team, fostering a high‑performance, safety‑focused culture aligned with Siemens values.

Your success will be grounded by

  • An understanding of Rolling Stock maintenance regimes and fault-finding principles.
  • An Engineering HNC or an equivalent level of qualification or experience.
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Prior people management/supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of the technical aspects of rolling stock relevant to this depot.
  • Experience in developing and monitoring key performance indicators.
