Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Engineer – Drives with hands-on experience in Siemens AC Drive systems. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of drive systems to ensure smooth plant operations. Knowledge of PLC systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling maintenance and troubleshooting of Siemens SINAMICS G130, Siemens SINAMICS S120, and Siemens SINAMICS G120 AC drive systems

  • Performing day-to-day breakdown maintenance of AC drives

  • Conducting preventive maintenance (PM) activities as per schedule

  • Diagnosing faults, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions

  • Parameterization, commissioning support, and drive tuning

  • Monitoring drive performance and ensuring minimum downtime

  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams for smooth execution of maintenance activities

  • Maintaining proper documentation of maintenance logs and reports

  • Ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies


Required Skills & Technical Competencies:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Siemens AC Drives (G130, S120, G120)

  • Good understanding of drive configuration, parameterization, and fault diagnostics

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and control schematics

  • Knowledge of PLC systems (added advantage)

  • Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols


Qualification:

  • BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or E&TC


Experience:

  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in drive maintenance and troubleshooting in an industrial setup


Preferred Profile:

  • Experience in manufacturing/steel/cement/heavy industrial environment preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
