The Head of Marketing (f/m/d) for D&A is responsible for deepening market insights, sharpening our competitive positioning, and ensuring a consistent global messaging. The role oversees multiple clinical and product marketing domains as well as market insights, driving marketing excellence across the entire value chain to strengthen the business line’s market position. This position requires a leader who builds high performing teams and delivers measurable impact across all marketing dimensions.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You lead the D&A Marketing organization, including coaching and developing the Marketing Management Team and its employees towards measurable impact.
- You own the strategic planning, development, and coordination of all marketing and go to market programs that drive the success and growth of the D&A business unit following marketing principles such as SWOT and KPI’s.
- Together with your team, you define and articulate the value of our solutions to internal and external stakeholders, including sales, clinicians, administrators, and procurement.
- You define, implement and steer the marketing strategy in close collaboration with sales, product management, business development and R&D to support business growth.
- You are responsible for the success of the D&A portfolio, increasing awareness and market share, and translating competitive advantage into business success.
- In addition, you are responsible for defining and successfully implementing new business models that affect both our portfolio and Siemens Healthineers.
- You identify clinical and business customer needs and work closely with product development and sales to enhance and expand our offering.
- You set and manage the marketing budget, including expenses and resource allocation, and ensure all milestones are achieved.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- You have many years of professional experience in marketing leadership within Healthcare IT, ideally clinical imaging IT (MedTech, Healthcare Technology, Digital Health, etc.).
- In addition, you convince with your extensive experience and your proven track record in launching digital platforms, SaaS-based solutions, automation technologies, or connected medical devices.
- You think holistically regarding the marketing impact within the organization, working cross-functionally with R&D, Product Management, Sales, Implementation and Regulatory.
- You demonstrate success in building and leading global or regional multidisciplinary marketing teams in a highly regulated environment.
- You have deep knowledge of the healthcare market, including customer needs and challenges, and bring strong expertise in strategic marketing, digital demand generation, and customer lifecycle management.
- You demonstrate strong business acumen with experience developing multi-year marketing strategies aligned with P&L objectives.
Your attributes and skills:
- You bring excellent communication and analytical skills, including executive level communication in English (spoken and written); German language skills are an advantage.
- You have proven decision-making skills and the ability to quickly analyze and evaluate complex topics and datasets.
- You can translate technology and clinical insights into compelling value propositions and differentiated messaging.
- You provide vision, direction, and clarity, fostering high performance through ownership, effectiveness and team spirit.
- You enjoy working in an international environment and bring strong intercultural experience.
- You are a collaborative team player, experienced in cross-functional work, and contribute actively to a positive team culture.
- You are self-motivated, solution-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- You are willing to travel internationally (approx. 20%).
