Position Summary

The Healthcare Consulting Solutions (HCS) Design Visualization Expert (DVE) will use their knowledge and expertise in design and visualization of laboratory layouts to create Computer-Aided Designed (CAD) drawings of customer facilities that will help facilitate solution design for Siemens Healthineers customers seeking to upgrade their clinical diagnostics testing equipment.

The DVE will be a critical partner to Sales, Consulting and Implementation teams in ensuring solution designs are approved by critical stakeholders (Customer, third-party equipment manufacturers etc.) to facilitate seamless transition from solution design and solution sale to solution implementation. The DVE Consultant supports the Operational Excellence Consultant and Sales Manager in developing accurate plans for preliminary and final layouts, workflow supporting data, and implementation strategy for Diagnostic solutions. The DVE is responsible for the generation of high-quality documentation and output (specification packets for tenders, components packets for quoting purposes) to support the sales team in providing the most suitable offer to the customers.  They will provide architects, facilities and contractors environmental requirements (water, power, waste, air, heat generation, etc.) helping customers design plans to achieve site readiness for our various solutions according to defined environmental and equipment specific requirements, as well as any local regulation. They also place orders and track delivery for Automation systems and components.

Qualified candidates must have experience using the standards, tools and technologies commonly employed in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry, with solid experience in healthcare / laboratory projects. Some of these tools include but are not limited to AutoDesk family of products (AutoCAD, Revit, others), technology for digital capture and modeling of construction sites, creation of Digital Twins, visualization of construction spaces in Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), 3D modelling and other visualization and design techniques. Further, a good understanding of clinical laboratory processes is required to deliver HCS services with the appropriate context for our customers.

  • Apply digital technologies to create digital twins of laboratory spaces and develop 3D renderings (Labview Lite) that clearly demonstrate Siemens Healthineers laboratory equipment solutions. You will also drive the use of AR/VR tools to deliver impactful design sessions.
  • Lead and coordinate the approval process and act as the zone interface for AutoCAD drawing submissions to the track supplier, as well as the handover to Siemens Healthineers implementation/installation teams.
  • Leverage your understanding of clinical laboratory processes to conduct KPI assessments and prepare customer presentations.
  • Contribute to tender responses, particularly for workflow‑related topics.
  • Support consulting tasks such as workload modeling, simulation database activities, dashboard data extraction from AMC, ADM, APM, SRS, and other Siemens IT platforms, along with additional tasks relevant to HCS design and consulting activities.
