Are you a results-driven sales leader with a passion for developing high-performing teams and delivering sustainable growth? Join Siemens Smart Infrastructure – Buildings in Barcelona as our Proximity Sales Team Lead East.

In this role, you will lead the Eastern Spain sales team, driving profitable growth and expanding our market presence across the region. Within our Buildings division, we deliver innovative building automation, fire safety, and energy management solutions that enable smart, safe, and sustainable infrastructures.

Your key responsibilities

  • Drive profitable growth by leading your team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets across the Siemens Buildings portfolio in Eastern Spain, expanding market share and customer base.
  • Implement and execute multichannel go-to-market strategies to maximize penetration across key customer segments and channels.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and career growth.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, understand competition, and adapt strategies to dynamic conditions.
  • Set clear goals, monitor performance, and ensure your team consistently meets and exceeds sales quotas.
  • Promote innovative sales approaches, digital tools, and value-based selling to enhance customer engagement and drive results.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers and partners, positioning Siemens as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including service, product, and partner management, to ensure aligned market execution.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize sales performance, team effectiveness, and market growth.
  • Lead key account development, maximizing penetration and profitable growth of strategic customers in your region.

What you bring

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or team lead role, specifically within the building technology, smart infrastructure, or related industrial solutions sector.
  • Demonstrated success in driving profitable growth and consistently achieving or exceeding ambitious sales targets, even in complex and challenging market conditions within the building industry.
  • A genuine passion for developing people, with proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and motivating sales professionals to reach their full potential.
  • Strong ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies that translate into tangible results for building solutions.
  • Proven ability to adapt, innovate, and achieve success in dynamic and competitive environments.
  • Excellent understanding of sales processes, financial metrics, and how to contribute to overall business profitability, particularly within the building technology market.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, XaaS (Anything-as-a-Service) concepts, and the ability to drive the sale of service and software offerings related to building management and optimization.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).

  • Deep understanding of the Spanish market dynamics within the building technology sector.
  • Familiarity with specific Siemens Buildings portfolio elements, such as Desigo CC, Cerberus DMS, or Siveillance Suite.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Strong network within the Spanish building owner, developer, or facility management community.
