What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:
Manage the SI B PRO US Business Performance functions including, but not limited to the monthly close process, controlling activities, financial planning and forecasting, volume reporting and transparency, digital financial application development, and internal process improvement utilizing new technologies. Manage a team of 2HC;s
What We Ask of You:
End-to-end responsibility for financial planning and forecasting including full P&L and balance sheet including calendar creation, collection of bottom-up forecasts, top-down simulations, and ESPRIT load of results. Process involves heavy integration to Product Management and SCM organizations.
Key advisor to SI B PRO US Finance Head on forecast positions, risk and opportunity management, results simulation, and assessment of current performance against forecast expectations. Manages quarterly cost center planning activities and review process for bottom-up cost controlling.
Controllership and Governance
- Responsible for month end close process including completeness of all close activities, accuracy of financial results, and assurance close milestones are within timelines.
- Responsible for annual transfer pricing documentation, foreign exchange hedge positions, and RIC test coordination
Reporting and Business Performance Management
- Central integration point between all financial business functions for SI B PRO US Leadership
- Responsible for central data reporting, value add analysis, and advancement of insightful analysis to organization.
- Central resource responsible for gathering, analyzing, and providing transparency to results in preparation for steering committees, business review meetings, and monthly performance reviews.
- Liaison for all external reporting needs in matrix organization (Global, Local Management) including Dash Commentary, results explanations, and Ad Hoc requests.
- Oversee and supervise ARE 526Z reporting, ensuring compliance with Siemens Group reporting requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate and supervise financial reporting activities for J2 Innovations (a Siemens company and separate legal entity), ensuring proper consolidation, transparency, and alignment with SI B PRO finance governance.
Reporting Digitalization Lead
- Digitalization lead responsible for coordinating needed IT Infrastructure, advancement of BI application development, process automation, and digital strategy.
- Interface for IT data requirements and management of system changes/enhancements
- Drive initiatives to increase backend office efficiency and business transparency.
Major Challenges:
Role requires balanced approach between understanding business needs while having detail systematic knowledge of two SAP systems, data architecture, digital tool development.
New ways of working challenge current ways of doing things and require new skill ramp up Matrix organization requires knowledge and understanding of multiple functional areas and processes
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international qualification required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial controlling and reporting; experience leading complex, cross‑functional projects required. Previous people management experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the SAP landscape with hands‑on operational experience.
- Experience with modern digital and analytical tools within a finance environment, including rollout and adoption (e.g., robotics, workflow automation with KNIME/Alteryx, visualization with Tableau, advanced analytics, and machine learning applications).
- Excellent communication skills with business‑fluent proficiency in English; German and/or Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience working effectively in multicultural teams and within an international, matrixed organization.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including experience preparing, leading, and moderating process improvement workshops.
- Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and driving change.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.

The pay range for this position is $122,951 - $210,773 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
