In Egypt, Siemens Mobility is delivering one of the country’s first high-speed rail system. This landmark project, spanning approximately 2,000 kilometers, will connect 60 cities across Egypt, transforming transportation for both passengers and goods. Today, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Section Manager to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

 

What Are My Responsibilities?

  • Act as Section Manager in accordance with internal policies and procedures, managing scope, schedule, cost, risks, interfaces, and deliverables.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable quality, safety, environmental, and asset management standards.
  • Take ownership of safety and RAMS performance for assigned assets and systems.
  • Deliver contractual availability, reliability, and service performance KPIs for the section.
  • Plan, manage, and control all maintenance, corrective, and improvement activities.
  • Control section budget, costs, resources, and subcontractor activities.
  • Lead asset performance monitoring, reliability growth, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage team competencies, authorizations, and training, particularly for safety-critical roles.
  • Manage and optimize required materials, consumables, tools, and supplies to ensure efficient work execution.
  • Interface with Operations, Engineering, Customers, Authorities, and Suppliers to ensure coordinated service delivery.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for audits, reporting, and overall section performance.
 

What Do I Need to Qualify for This Job?

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Field.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in maintenance, asset management, or railway/infrastructure systems.
  • Proven experience managing a section or department with at least 10 years of leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams of 4 or more staff members.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management, maintenance planning, RAMS, and performance management.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
