Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Engineer specializing in fixture design and automated machine design. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering and have 8 to 10 years of professional experience in the relevant field. This role is integral to driving innovation, efficiency, and quality in our manufacturing and automation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize fixtures for manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring precision, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Lead the design and development of automated machines, integrating mechanical, electrical, and control systems for seamless operation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance to identify requirements and deliver effective engineering                      solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed fixture and automation projects.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using CAD and related software tools.
Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation of fixtures and machines, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
Continuously improve existing fixtures and automated systems to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and maintain product quality.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in fixture and machine design.

Required Qualifications & Experience 

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in fixture design and automated machine development within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and engineering analysis tools.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, automation, robotics, and industrial safety standards.
Proven track record of successfully executing engineering projects from concept to completion.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively in a team-centric environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with PLC programming, sensor integration, and machine control systems.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Familiarity with rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate with suppliers for outsourced fabrication and assembly.
