Position Overview
We are looking for a Junior Program Manager to join the Program Management Team. In this role, you will lead projects and programs end-to-end in an Agile-oriented environment, coordinating execution across cross-functional teams and ensuring delivery through planning, dependency management, and risk and issue management.
Significant part of the role is acting as a Jira power user—supporting effective and consistent usage of Jira and Confluence, helping teams with configuration and day-to-day questions, and partnering closely with the primary Jira Administrator located in the US.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for process improvement and a keen interest in supporting our operational excellence through effective program management and Jira administration.
Area of responsibility
- Lead Siemens programs and projects through the full lifecycle—ensuring outcomes are aligned to organizational goals.
- Own program operational routines (status, action tracking, stakeholder communication) as an individual contributor, ensuring progress and follow-through.
- Operate effectively within an Agile-oriented organization, enabling delivery through lightweight governance, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain project routines (cadence of meetings, status reporting, decision/action logs) and ensure stakeholders have clear visibility of progress and blockers.
- Own risk management for assigned initiatives: identify and assess risks, define mitigation plans, track execution, and escalate when required to protect delivery.
- Facilitate alignment across stakeholders (Engineering, Product, Operations, and other internal partners), ensuring shared understanding of priorities and timely decision-making.
- Serve as a Jira power user (working closely with the Jira Administrator in the US), supporting teams with:
- Support day-to-day Jira administration tasks,
- Help maintain consistency in Jira usage across teams and contribute to continuous improvements,
- User support and troubleshooting for Jira-related questions.
- Support collaboration and knowledge sharing via Confluence, including maintaining project spaces/pages, templates, and ensuring documentation is current and easy to find.
Your qualifications
- Experience in project/program coordination, program management, PMO, operations, or similar roles in a technology environment.
- University degree (Preferably Engineering, Computer Science or similar).
- Experience working in a globally distributed environment.
- Understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience with Jira and motivation to further develop skills in this area.
- Self-starter mindset: proactive, reliable, and comfortable operating with limited day-to-day supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English.
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is 170,000 PLN to 230,000 PLN and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Siemens offers health and wellness benefits to employees.
