What will you do?

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our financial planning, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage advanced analytics, and help drive meaningful insights that support strategic decision‑making.

Core Financial Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and other business teams to gather, validate, and interpret financial information.
  • Assist in developing the annual budget and forecast, analyzing actual results versus plan, prior periods, and business drivers.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation of journal entries, financial reports, and reconciliations.
  • Participate in monthly cost center reviews with department leaders to help them manage and optimize their budgets.
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and cost‑management programs led by the FP&A team.

Sales & Planning Support

  • Respond to Sales team reporting needs, including requests related to sales planning and performance.
  • Contribute to the annual target‑setting process using global and local planning tools.

Advanced Analytics, AI & Automation

  • Apply AI‑enabled analytics and predictive modeling techniques to improve forecasting accuracy and uncover key business drivers.
  • Enhance the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of month‑end close and reporting through AI and process automation, reducing manual work and streamlining routine tasks.
  • Design and implement practical AI and automation use cases within Finance—such as automated variance analysis, forecast driver insights, and commentary generation.
  • Build intuitive, scalable Power BI dashboards and analytical solutions aligned to KPIs, cost drivers, and key decision‑making needs.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to digitalize and automate Finance processes, improving efficiency and reporting reliability.
  • Continuously advance Finance’s analytics and automation capabilities using tools such as Power BI, Copilot, SQL, and selective automation technologies.

[Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 70,000 CAD - $ 90,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of up to 10% of base salary, based on Company performance metrics.]

What will you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in finance
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills are preferred
  • Experience with Power BI and AI‑driven analytics is considered a strong asset
  • Familiarity with SAP is an asset
  • Strong analytical thinking and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies, interpret financial data, and support accurate reporting
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize findings clearly and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
  • Proactive, curious, and self‑motivated mindset, with a willingness to learn new systems, investigate issues, and contribute to process improvements
