Senior Project Engineer

Smart Infrastructure – Electrification & Automation

Responsibilities

• Perform on site trouble shooting, device configuration, maintenance, repairs and T&C for substation automation RTU and ensure the service and T&C is completed within target timeline

• Deliver assigned project activities on schedule and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and client stakeholders.

• Possible to participate in the rotational standby duty roster which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays

·         Coordinate and supervise subcontractors during site works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety rules, and quality standards.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issue using specialized tools and equipment
• Support Engineering team to prepare technical manuals/ document for submission
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:

• Higher Diploma or above in Electrical/Electronic/Control and automation Engineering or related engineering disciplines
• At least 5+ years’ relevant experience in electrical/electronic/control and automation engineering field
• Solid experience in automation RTU/PLC system is highly preferable
• Knowledgeable on industrial communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus and IEC 61850) is preferable
• Strong knowledge in Control and Automation Systems and SHEQ system implementation
• Excellent communications skills and a team player

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Well-versed in MS Office applications and AutoCad
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Willing to develop technical competence in Substation RTU and automation
