Testing and Commissioning Engineer

Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented
- Collaborate with team member, internal department and coordinate with client, respective system wide contractors and subcontractors on the site activities arrangement. As well as weekly attending Works Train Notice Meeting to get access to the tracks and ensure the testing is executed on schedule in accordance with the testing standards and specifications.
- Attend Operator / LTA Track work Access meeting & LTA manpower planning meeting for C853e as well as submit SDAR and TAR to getting track access for HGBD works.
- Responsible for leading the commissioning activities to ensure successful execution throughout commissioning lifecycle: from FAT, PRE-SAT, SAT, SIT onto final handover to client and live into service.
- Support Manager for preparation of Method statement, risk assessment, step by step work plan and other paper works for the project.
- Develop a system & platform to monitor projects progress on weekly basis as duties assigned by manager and feed back to project planner.
- Supervise and support the installation team to carry out installation activities SKD RT A&A at site and self-motivated.
- Assist Manager to prepare work schedule program.
- Assist ad-hoc duties assigned by Manager in relation to the project.
- Ability to make decisions and support other project teams if required.
Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or relevant with minimum of 3 years working experience in Electrification projects.
- Taking responsibility & ownership in the work to be done.
- Demonstrate experience using requirements traceability.
- Knowledge of Siemens electrification solutions is an advantage.
- Reviewing and updating drawings, specifications, factory acceptance test (fat) plan, fat report, and SAT reports.
- Hands On experience of using test equipments of high voltage and secondary voltage testing in T&C works.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the safety significance in the operation and maintenance of the High, Medium and Low Voltage systems and Traction Power Systems in a railway environment while placing safety as the highest priority.
- Taking complete responsibility in Site acceptance testing (SAT/ITC/TTR).
- Hands on/ Knowledge of PLC (Siemens, Mitsubishi etc) and ETTS/TSSS system.
- Willing to work extended hours and work during engineering hours (Night work) and public holidays if project calls for.
