We are looking for a Pre-sales Technical Support, to be hired with a permanent contract, in Firenze.

Your challenge:

As a Pre-sales Technical Support you will be responsible for the Technical Support and Promotion of Digital Industry products & solutions in North Center area (Toscana, Emilia Romagna, Marche) within Digital Industry Business Function of Technical Support.

Some of the main activities will be:

• Promote and support industrial products and solutions to cooperate in customers’ automation architectures design and development
• Present technical features of products and solutions in the pre-sales phase
• Support technically OEMs, System Integrators and Distributors
• Cooperate with the sales, marketing and business development teams in the technical promotion of automation solutions, providing a wide view of current offers and opportunities
• Carry out training, presentations and technical workshops to spread the know-how with the customers
• Influence the main collaborators and the customer’s “Decision makers”
• Provide some insights on the customer's point of view in innovation processes
• Have deep knowledge of the industrial market and the competitors’ offer

And what about the medium-long term?

• You will have the possibility to increase presence of Siemens in Industrial Market via main stakeholders in North Center Area.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

• Passion and readiness to new topics related to technological innovation related to Automation Systems
• Degree in computer science, electronics, automation or equivalent or technical diploma
• Capability to simplify and represent technical concepts to transmit them to customers and sales
• Willingness to lead presentations or workshops to customers and colleagues
• Knowledge about Computer Technology and Operating Systems
• Knowledge about Automation Technology (controllers, inverters, …)
• Available to frequent business trips on national level, and sometimes also international
• Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication and relational skills, enthusiasm and passion
• Strong orientation to reach the targets and to customer service, initiative, autonomy and propensity to work in team
• Passion to never-stop growing
• Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and hare knowledge
• Eligibility to work in Italy
