Brief Job Description (Short Version)
Responsible for managing end‑to‑end commercial and financial activities from bid stage to project execution, ensuring achievement of key KPIs such as revenue, profit, and cashflow. The role includes commercial contract drafting, risk and opportunity assessment, and maintaining accurate project financials including costs, billing, invoicing, accruals, provisions, taxation, hedging, and compliance. It also involves timely reporting to local and global management, driving effective contract and claim management, and supporting pre‑sales commercial activities. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SAP, MS Office, Power BI, Tableau, and Power Query are essential.
Detailed Job Description:
- Responsible for managing end-to-end commercial activities, starting from the bidding phase through to complete project execution.
- Accountable for achieving all Financial KPIs as per Budget and Forecast, including Revenue, Profitability, Cashflow, and other project-related financial metrics.
- Conduct regular project reviews and ensure timely and accurate reporting to both local SI management and global stakeholders.
- Lead the establishment and negotiation of commercial and contractual terms with customers, consortium partners, and subcontractors.
- Identify project risks and opportunities, perform financial evaluations, develop mitigation strategies, capitalize on opportunities, and determine risk reserves in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Oversee the continuous monitoring, controlling, and updating of project financials, including cost tracking, risk logs, billing, invoicing, accruals, provisions, hedging, bank guarantees, insurance, taxation, FEMA compliance, and overall project reporting.
- Proactively implement and manage an effective contract and claims management framework throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support pre-sales and bid management activities, contributing to commercial evaluations and proposal preparation during the bidding stage.
- Perform analysis and initiate corrective actions for segment profitability, SD & CCM metrics, POC orders, balance sheet positions, and cashflow performance.
- Proficient in SAP, MS Office, Power BI, Tableau, Power Query, and other digital tools; demonstrates strong technical aptitude. Well-versed in SFRG and Espirit reporting requirements.
