We are looking for job title : Product Owner - Mendix Shopfloor Apps

You’ll create impact by

• Strategic Product Leadership: Define and articulate the strategic vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities for Mendix low-code applications on the shopfloor. This includes identifying key digitalization initiatives and aligning them with overall business objectives.
• Partner Engagement & Relationship Management: Act as the primary interface between factory stakeholders (e.g., production managers, operations teams, IT), Mendix development teams, and other relevant departments. Build strong, collaborative relationships to understand needs, capture requirements, and ensure alignment.
• Solution Develop & Architecture Oversight: Collaborate closely with solution architects and development teams to ensure Mendix applications are developed for scalability, maintainability, and optimal performance within a sophisticated industrial environment.
• Digitalization & Scaling Champion: Drive the successful implementation of Mendix solutions in pilot factories, meticulously capturing lessons learned, and developing robust strategies for scaling these applications across multiple Siemens factories globally.
• Technical & Domain Expertise: Leverage your extensive experience in manufacturing processes, industrial automation, and shopfloor operations to advise product decisions and ensure solutions deliver tangible business value.
• Market & Technology Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of the latest trends in low-code development, industrial IoT, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and other relevant technologies to continuously innovate and evolve our product offerings.
• Risk Management & Quality Assurance: Identify potential risks and challenges in product development and deployment, implementing mitigation strategies. Ensure high-quality, reliable, and secure applications are delivered.
• Knowledge Sharing and Collaborative Working: Share your experience and collaborate with other Mendix teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and perfection in product management and digitalization.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including

• 20+ years of dynamic experience in product management, industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, IT consulting for manufacturing, or a related field, with a strong focus on digitalization initiatives.
• Expertise in Mendix low-code development platform is required. Experience with other low-code platforms or a strong understanding of their capabilities in an industrial context will also be considered.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, shopfloor operations, and industrial automation technologies (e.g., MES, SCADA, PLC, IoT).
• Good partner management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate optimally with diverse teams at all levels of the organization, from factory floor to executive leadership.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of translating sophisticated business challenges into actionable product roadmaps and solutions.
• Experience in scaling digital solutions across multiple sites or a global enterprise.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
• Bachelor's or equivalent experience or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
