• Navigate product transformation with resilience – providing stability and guidance to teams as the organization evolves toward product-centric ways of working
• Together with the product roles in HAFAS.engine, define and maintain the long-term vision and roadmap, focusing on customer and user value, product viability, and strategic differentiation
• Own feature-level strategy, development, and lifecycle management – from conception to market success
• Conduct market and user research to identify needs, trends, and opportunities through desk research, interviews, workshops, and other validation methods in collaboration with user research roles
• Transform customer problems and market opportunities into concrete product features – defining what needs to be built, why it matters, and how it delivers value across many customers
• Take full ownership of feature validation, definition, pricing, and revenue generation – your success is measured by customer adoption and business impact
• Validate requirements from tenders and customer inquiries together with expert roles in HAFAS.engine and overarching solution engineer roles
• Cooperate with sales/bid teams to develop business models, pricing strategies, and product positioning
• Represent the product in client-facing interactions through compelling presentations that inspire customers
• Attend conferences and industry events to explore market trends and nurture customer relationships

• Relevant university degree in Mobility & Transport, Engineering, Business, Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in product management or adjacent roles, ideally in a technology-driven, agile environment
• Experience in the information technology
• Deep understanding of product development cycles, roadmap creation, and product lifecycle management
• Experience with financial validation of features and P&L planning for organisational unit, ideally with B2B software pricing models
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a results-oriented approach
• Understanding of the perspectives of various stakeholders in the mobility ecosystem, such as regulators, local authorities, transport operators and software providers
• Passion for intermodal mobility – understanding how travelers combine different transport modes (train, bus, bike-sharing, ride-hailing) and how to provide seamless, integrated journey planning across these modes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to align stakeholders, inspire teams, and convince customers
• Excellent English skills required; German skills are advantageous
• Nice to have: Experience with SaaS pricing models
