Position Overview

We are looking for a Vertical Account Manager in Athens or Thessaloniki, Greece to drive sustainable revenue growth and market expansion by managing strategic customer accounts within assigned industry verticals, leveraging Siemens’ end‑to‑end industrial portfolio, digital capabilities, and global expertise.

Your Challenge

  • Own and develop key accounts within defined industry verticals, ensuring long‑term value creation and customer satisfaction
  • Drive market development and strengthen Siemens’ positioning through effective portfolio placement and value‑based selling
  • Deliver annual sales objectives through disciplined account planning, opportunity management, and pipeline governance
  • Build and orchestrate partner ecosystems, collaborating with system integrators, distributors, EPCs, and technology partners
  • Establish and maintain senior customer relationships to deepen industry insight and influence customer investment decisions
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue business opportunities aligned with customers’ mid‑term investment and digitalization roadmaps
  • Leverage Siemens’ global expertise, ensuring effective transfer of vertical know‑how and best practices to the local market
  • Act as a trusted advisor, positioning integrated solutions across automation, software, control systems, drives, communications, and LV–MV portfolios
  • Enable customer digital transformation by combining AI‑enabled solutions with deep process and industry knowledge
  • Anticipate market and customer dynamics and proactively deploy Siemens’ portfolio to improve customer performance and competitiveness

What do you need to bring with you?

  • 5–10 years of experience in industrial sales or key account management within complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
  • Proven understanding of industrial processes across multiple industries and vertical markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Master’s degree and/or MBA considered an advantage
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess market potential, define growth strategies, and deliver results
  • Willingness to travel across Greece, with strong planning, prioritization, and multitasking capabilities
  • Customer‑centric mindset with the ability to navigate complex customer journeys and align go‑to‑market strategies
  • Experience operating within partner‑driven business models and collaborative ecosystems
  • Solid understanding of complex contractual frameworks, including negotiation, risk management, and margin optimization
  • Strong digital sales orientation, with exposure to new business models, digital tools, and data‑driven selling approaches
  • Growth mindset, demonstrating adaptability, continuous learning, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Fluency in Greek and English, with strong communication and executive‑level presentation skills
