As a Digital & Process Improvement Analyst within our Education & Skills team, you’ll play a pivotal role in digitally enabling and optimising the planning, scheduling and governance of training, competence pathways and safety critical activities. Through the use of data analytics, automation, AI enabled tools and Continuous Improvement methodologies, you’ll help us drive efficiency, enhance reliability, and strengthen compliance across a complex and high stakes operational environment.

This role gives you the autonomy to shape processes, deliver digital innovation, and make a visible impact on safety, quality and operational excellence.

You’ll make a difference by…
  • Designing and improving end‑to‑end planning and scheduling processes for training, assessments and competence pathways.
  • Mapping current and future-state workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste and increase throughput.
  • Leading Continuous Improvement (CI) projects using Lean methodologies to deliver measurable operational benefits.
  • Developing and deploying digital solutions, such as Power Automate workflows, Power BI dashboards and AI‑enabled insights.
  • Building robust operational reporting that supports decision-making for safety‑critical and mission‑critical work.
  • Documenting data schemas, protection concepts and system architecture to ensure strong governance and compliance.
  • Leading and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure high‑quality digital solution implementation.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to secure buy‑in and communicate improvements effectively.
  • Championing safe, ethical and compliant behaviours in line with Siemens Mobility HSEW and governance standards.
Your success will be grounded by … 
  • A strong track record in process analysis, digital enablement and continuous improvement within complex or regulated environments.
  • Proven capability applying Lean or Six Sigma tools to improve planning, scheduling or operational processes.
  • Hands‑on experience with Power BI, Power Automate, AI‑enabled tools and workflow digitalisation.
  • The ability to document digital solutions, manage UAT and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and collaborate effectively.
It would be beneficial to have:
  • Experience working with Learner Management Systems or similar enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of competence frameworks, authority‑to‑work controls or scheduling for safety‑critical tasks.
  • Experience in a cross‑functional or cross‑cultural environment.
