Your Responsibilities:

As an Account Manager, your core goal will be driving profitable revenue growth and fostering strong relationships within the EPC ecosystem and Consultants. You will act as a trusted advisor and operational leader for projects in Mining, Minerals, and Metals (MMM), leveraging Siemens’ full portfolio.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Business Development:

• Solutions Portfolio: Promote Siemens’ Low Voltage Switchgear, Medium Voltage Switchgear, Automation, and Drives with consultants and EPCs.
• Strategic Engagement: Lead early-stage project shaping with a deep understanding of topics like FEED stages, feasibility, and execution phases.
• Ecosystem Collaboration: Guide, support, and align consultants/EPCs with Siemens resources and expertise.
• Pipeline Generation: Develop strong bid opportunities, drive specification at key accounts, and contribute toward achieving ambitious sales targets.
• Market Leadership: Conduct business research and competitor analysis to enrich Siemens’ positioning within the Industrial, Mining, and MMM sectors.

Opportunity and Account Management:

• Account Planning: Proactively define clear expansion goals, nurture account relationships, and develop action plans for client interactions while monitoring progress.
• Customer Prospecting: Build connections with new customers, identify their needs, conduct financial analysis, and communicate pipeline updates to internal stakeholders.
• Engagement Excellence: Foster strong relationships through regular client visits and collaboration, including alignment with C-level executives for strategic initiatives.

Team-Oriented Execution:

• Orchestration: Collaborate across Siemens’ teams, internal sales ecosystems, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of value propositions and customer strategies.
• Project Coordination: Drive alignment and engagement with EPCs and consultants during planning and execution phases to create long-term value.

Sales and Operational Management:

• Provide accurate sales forecasts, maintain updated customer records, and participate in Win/Loss reviews.
• Compile insights for sales management and produce case studies/success stories that help refine regional strategies.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (a business qualification/degree is a plus).
• Strong understanding of the Mining, Minerals, and Metals (MMM) segment. A process background is essential.
• Project/program management expertise is mandatory.

Experience:

• 5-8 years professional experience, with at least 5 years working in or with EPCs or consultants.
• Prior experience in channel or indirect sales and navigating complex sales ecosystems.
