Senior Application Engineer(Emulation) will work closely with sales to lead technical engagement supporting sales campaigns for Hardware Assisted Verification (HAV) of digital chip designs based on Siemens EDA's emulation and FPGA prototyping products and services, with an emphasis on our Emulation solution. You will apply professional expertise to support both pre-sales and post-sales assessment of customer needs as well as quick implementation and execution of solutions. You will work with modern technology, developing product knowledge by working side by side with our customers in close collaboration with R&D and marketing in a multi-functional, interdependent environment. The Emulation Application Engineer will work closely with sales team members to manage technical engagement supporting sales campaigns for Hardware Assisted Verification (HAV) of digital chip designs based on Siemens EDA's emulation and FPGA prototyping products and services, with an emphasis on our Emulation solution. • Job Descriptions
• Drive business for Siemens EDA using hands-on technical expertise. Requires working directly with customers as a part of the sales team during product evaluations to ensure technical milestones are met.
• Deploy Siemens EDA emulation software and hardware solutions at customer sites.
• Promote technical customer service to build and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and becoming the go-to expert for all customer inquiries and support.
• Collaborate with area sales management, account teams, and customers to identify business opportunities and technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical obstacles; develop and deliver technical presentations on new features and product updates.
• Provide in-depth technical feedback and product ideas to our emulation product development teams to improve overall product performance.
• Communicate customers' technical requirements to product marketing.
• Build a network of peer-level technical relationships with customers.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure mutual success.
Job Qualifications
• BS or MS in electrical, computer or electronics engineering, computer science, or equivalent discipline with validated years' experience.
• Understanding of computer architecture, including industry-standard interfaces and memory subsystems.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with SoC design and verification methodologies.
• Experience with SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL RTL design.
• Experience with SystemVerilog, UVM, SystemC, and/or C/C++ for IP and subsystem-level verification.
• Proficiency in scripting using Perl, Python, and Makefile with UNIX and/or Linux platforms.
• Proficiency in English, both written and oral.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, a strong team player, willing to accept challenges and learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Must enjoy working with customers and cross-functional teams among R&D, product management, sales, and marketing.
