Account Manager - Simulation
Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
We're looking for a driven Account Executive to lead the expansion of our Simulation and Test Solutions across the Nordic region. In this role, you'll balance growing our key accounts while pursuing new business opportunities—combining the relationship-building skills of a farmer with the opportunity-hunting instincts of a hunter. You'll take responsibility for a few large strategic accounts while actively identifying and winning new logos, connecting customers with Simcenter solutions that address their real engineering challenges. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plansfor your key accounts, working closely with internal teams to expand Simcenter adoption and grow customer investment
- Identify and pursue new business opportunitiesacross a defined set of target accounts, bringing fresh approaches to customer acquisition and competitive displacement
- Present value-based messagingaround our Simcenter simulation portfolio, helping customers understand how these solutions address their specific engineering challenges
- Lead technical sales conversationswith key decision-makers, navigating complex buying cycles and building trust through deep product knowledge
- Work closely with Customer Success, Marketing, and Renewals teamsto ensure smooth customer onboarding and create pathways for long-term account growth
- Monitor pipeline health, forecast accurately, and contribute to strategic territory planning that supports regional growth objectives
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in simulation—whether through software sales, technical sales, or consultancy work in simulation environments
- Demonstrated success in new business development, with the ability to identify opportunities, win new logos, and successfully compete against established players
- Proven track record in account management, with the ability to grow existing customer relationships and expand their investment over time
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skillsthat enable confident engagement with stakeholders at all levels, helping to navigate complex sales cycles and drive meaningful outcomes
- Bachelor's or Master's degreein Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Willingness to travelacross the region as needed
Nice to have
- Finnish language skills—a valuable asset for engaging customers across the Nordic region
- Familiarity with the broader PLM ecosystem and how simulation integrates into product development workflows
- Experience selling Simcenter or comparable simulation solutions
