Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Santa Clara, CA is $129,792.00-$184,200.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Analyze methodologies and solutions to meet customer/user requirements for Design-for-Test. Assist customers with verification of their Tessent patterns and RTL. Create example testcases to help reproduce issues for customers with sensitive data concerns. Capture and explain tool bugs for product development engineering. Provide input to Tessent product engineering on new/future product features/enhancements to solve customer future Design-for-Test challenges. Provide input creation and improvement of Tessent documentation and training materials. Help customers with the creation of TCL Scripts to assist with special design flow automation needs.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Support Application Engineer-related occupation. Alternatively, Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a Support Application Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
1. Developing and deploying hierarchical design-for-test implementation flows to include scan insertion, automatic test pattern generation and verification, and Built-in-Self-Test Memory

2. Creating DFT flow test case examples to assist with mimicking customer design environment or functionality
3. Writing, interpreting, and debugging system Verilog
4. Writing and debugging TCL scripts
5. Debugging real silicon.
Telecommuting Permissible pursuant to company policy . 5% Domestic Travel Required. [Hybrid Role]
