This person will shape and execute our strategy to build executive mindshare, influence the regional policy environment, and directly accelerate the commercial pipeline through high-value relationship capital.

This is a dual-mandate role: externally facing — governments, academia, industry associations, chambers, multilateral organizations, and strategic accounts — and internally enabling, supporting the CEO and regional leadership with the relationships, narratives, and institutional access that drive growth.

Essential Functions:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong Partner management background along with an understanding of all the elements that are required to enable and grow strategic partnerships. This role is senior in nature and will seek bring a consolidated approach to this partnership by aligning our teams to one strategy and enabling consistent execution.

  • Own and maintain a tiered C-level relationship map across strategic accounts and key government stakeholders in the region — C-level, and Minister-level profiles.
  • Design and execute a structured executive engagement calendar: quarterly C-level touchpoints, bilateral CEO briefings, curated roundtables.
  • Partner with Sales and BD teams to identify where executive access is the critical unlock for high-potential or stalled opportunities — and activate those relationships with precision.
  • Develop tailored executive briefing materials, value propositions, and conversation guides aligned with each stakeholder’s strategic priorities and Siemens’ portfolio.
  • Deploy Siemens’ DEGREE sustainability framework as a BD lever in conversations with governments, development banks, and strategic accounts seeking co-investment in decarbonization and digital infrastructure.
  • Develop and negotiate Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) and formal partnership agreements with key ecosystem actors, translating strategic relationships into structured, accountable commitments.
  • Lead and foster the regional ecosystem by identifying, approaching, and managing alliances with government, academia, chambers, industry associations, and private sector partners aligned with Siemens’ strategic priorities.
  • Identify partnership opportunities aligned with Siemens’ global technology agenda: industrial AI, digital twins, XCELERATOR ecosystem, smart infrastructure, and sustainable energy transition.
  • Drive cross-company partnership enablement — workshops, co-innovation initiatives, and joint go-to-market programs — embedding alliance management as a capability across Siemens businesses in the region.
  • Monitor, analyze, and brief senior leadership on regulatory, legislative, and industrial policy developments — nearshoring, energy transition, infrastructure investment, digital economy — as early business opportunity signals.
  • Identify and activate sources of public and private funding — multilateral financing instruments, development bank programs, and nearshoring incentive schemes — that support Siemens' project pipeline across the region.
  • Hold active leadership positions in strategic industry associations and chambers of commerce relevant to Siemens’ portfolio.
  • Track and report on partnership and BD outcomes — pipeline influence, MoU milestones, stakeholder engagement quality — with clear metrics connecting relationship activity to commercial results.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Leadership & influence: Proven ability to lead and build coalitions in dynamic, matrixed, multinational environments. Influences without direct authority across business units, geographies, and seniority levels. Executive presence and credibility to engage at CEO, Minister, and Managing Board level.

Skilled at developing executive narratives, strategic presentations, and policy materials for diverse audiences. Cross-cultural fluency across the LAC region.

  • Demonstrated track record of connecting institutional and C-level relationship management to commercial outcomes.
