Are you ready to be at the forefront of digital transformation in industrial automation? Siemens Digital Industries is seeking an enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative to play a pivotal role in our technology-driven journey.

This is not a transactional inside sales role. This is a digital-first, revenue-owning, performance-driven account management position. We are looking for a high-performing digital seller who thrives on targets, owns their pipeline, and converts conversations into revenue. If you are disciplined in sales rigor, confident in virtual selling, and motivated by measurable outcomes, this role is for you.


Key Responsibilities


1. Account Management
  • Own and manage a set of assigned customer accounts (SME / Key accounts)
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Act as the single point of contact for customer queries
  • Understand customer business, applications, and future needs
  • Drive account growth through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities

2. Lead Management & Qualification
  • Manage inbound and outbound leads effectively
  • Qualify leads based on need, potential, and timeline
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and movement across stages
  • Close all leads within defined timelines (e.g., 30 days)

3. Customer Engagement
  • Engage customers via calls, emails, and virtual meetings
  • Coordinate with technical teams to provide solutions
  • Ensure timely response and resolution to customer requirements

4. Pipeline Generation & Growth
  • Generate new opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Drive campaigns and outbound prospecting
  • Identify white spaces and expand wallet share in accounts

5. Sales Coordination
  • Collaborate with field sales, partners, and technical teams
  • Support demos, proposals, and commercial discussions
  • Ensure smooth progression from opportunity to closure

6. CRM Hygiene & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and updated CRM data
  • Track all activities, opportunities, and account interactions
  • Ensure no overdue leads and proper stage movement
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline and forecasts

7. Target & Performance Management
  • Achieve KPIs on pipeline generation, conversion, and account growth
  • Meet assigned revenue / opportunity targets
  • Improve lead-to-opportunity conversion rates

Key Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience within Inside Sales
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Customer-first mindset with ownership attitude
  • Ability to manage both hunting (new leads) and farming (accounts)
  • Good commercial and solution understanding
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management

KPIs / Success Metrics
  • Driving  Revenue and orders 
  • Pipeline generated (new + existing accounts)
  • Account growth (revenue / opportunity increase)
  • Lead conversion rate
  • % of leads closed within SLA (e.g., 30 days)
  • Customer engagement frequency
  • CRM hygiene (no overdue leads, data accuracy)
