Key Skills:

Multi Customer Focus, Asset & Property Management (Utilities, Buildings Services) for factory & office, Space Management, Projects Management (Fitouts, Renovations, Redevelopments, Expansions, etc.), Environment Health and Safety (EHS) related to Asset Management, Facilities Management, Maintenance & Operations, Budget Planning, Digitalization, Sustainability. Liaison with statutory agencies. Canteen and Security Services. Growth Mindset.

Key Responsibility

• Management of multi-factory projects and operations within the allocated locations. Focus on Factory Customer (Location in charge, Factory Manager, Commercial team, Project Managers, EHS, within purview of SERE etc.)

• Management of Key Performance Indicators for SERE, Manage team of outsourced Facilities Management team for Asset Management of Utilities like Electrical Systems (Transformers, Substation, Electrical LT Panels, Distribution System), Mechanical Systems (HVAC, Air compressors, Water supply, Sewage Treatment Plant, Fire Hydrant, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Alarm system, CCTV, VESDA etc), Soft services (Housekeeping, Pest Control, Gardening), Building maintenance (Roof, Trusses, Walls, Flooring)

• Manage and Execute Projects, ranging from basic fitouts to renovations, redevelopments and expansion projects. Drive the project from understanding the business requirements to establishing project plans to satisfactory completion of deliverables and timely handover.

• Evaluate and manage project risks and opportunities. Prepare and deliver regular project reporting, project status discussions and milestone reviews.

• Manage third party vendors, driving execution with quality and timeliness, coordinate with architect, design agencies, consultants, etc.

• Liaison with authorities and government bodies for statutory requirements and approvals. Ensure statutory compliances as per the industrial bodies, factories act, pollution control board, data privacy, cyber security, etc.

• Establish robust Building and Utilities Life Cycle Maintenance plan.

• Own and manage the physical security of the locations. Ensure proper canteen services for the factory employees.

• Environment Health and Safety (EHS) for Maintenance and Projects Management. Ensure Zero Harm Culture (ZHC), Conduct Risk assessment and associated works.

• Budget planning (long term and short term), Online Systems update for budget, project cash flow monitoring, Maintenance Strategy (Capex and Expenses)

• Coordination with SERE central team, EHS, SCM, Sustainability team, Security team, Commercial team to ensure smooth workflow and eliminating process bottlenecks.


Required Competencies

• Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with factory & office experience of 15+ years. For PG candidate (premium institute) 10 years’ experience at Key positions.

• Project Management Skills – communication, problem solving, leadership, etc. Attention to detail and ability to drive the projects from initiation to handover. PMP® certification preferred, but not necessary.

• People management skills. Business & Customer focus. Stakeholder management – both internal and external. Capability to build narratives and present to the management.

• Digital acumen, proficiency in digital tools and systems. High skill level in MS office.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills.

• Result oriented, Sense of urgency, Drive a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement with an eye for quality and imbibing first time right mindset.

• Basic financial skills, for budget understanding, allocation and cost optimization.
