Specialist for Intralogistics & Production Optimization
Change world of tomorrow with us.
Our Siemens business unit Motion Control (DI MC) is one of the world's leading providers of products, systems, solutions, and services in the field of Motion Control. This includes around 20,000 employees and the four business segments. With its global production sites, R&D, and service locations, MC is close to its customers and at home in a wide range of industries. At our factory network Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the global market. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics.
We are planning to expand our Oradea plant into an even larger, modern, and more powerful Siemens Mechatronic Competence Center! This isn’t just an expansion; it is a true transformation. As part of this strategic business development, we will be building a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing area in Oradea. This new space will integrate critical parts of our production and associated support functions, creating a unified, high-performance hub for mechatronic expertise within Siemens.
Oradea will become one of Siemens’ key competence centers, with new colleagues joining us, new technologies being implemented, and new capabilities strengthening our overall footprint.
Join our Logistics team as a Specialist for Intralogistics & Production Optimization, a role designed for a proactive, skilled professional who can drive significant operational improvements.
This will be your impact:
- Within your role, you will independently lead projects in the field of intralogistics and production through to productive implementation, including across multiple locations.
- To achieve this, you will independently identify optimization potentials along the plant's supply chain, autonomously develop specific solution concepts, and comprehensively evaluate the economic viability of individual projects.
- You will organize the productive implementation of these measures and oversee them until they reach series maturity. You'll then nurture these changes until they are fully integrated and stable ("series maturity").

- In addition to shaping process changes, you will be responsible as a departmental expert for the smooth operation of the S4/HANA supply chain and the MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Beyond project work, you're the go-to expert for critical IT systems – the ERP SAP S4/HANA and the MES. You ensure their smooth, uninterrupted operation.
- You're tasked with finding ways to make things better – identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within the supply chain.
- You will be responsible for proving that your proposed solutions make financial sense. The multi-location aspect adds complexity and broadens your influence.
This is how you'll win us over:
- The foundation for your success is a completed degree in industrial engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering, Business Administration, Supply chain Management, along with several years of professional experience in the intralogistics environment of the electric motor.
- Alternatively, you have at least 3 years of completed vocational training and qualified further training as a technician with many years of professional experience in the intralogistics environment electric motor plant.
- Expert for the end-to-end design and mapping of supply chain processes in SAP S/4 HANA with a strong focus on business requirements and process optimization
