Team Lead for IT Service Management – Learning - (m/f/d)

As the Team Lead for ELSA (our technical stack for learning solutions), you will bridge the gap between complex architecture and seamless internal/external user experiences.
The Mission
You will be responsible for the strategic service management and architectural integrity of our learning tech stack. This is a "ramp-up" environment where you will build, lead, and evolve a world-class team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Service Management and Architecture operations for the ELSA learning technology stack
- Manage demand intake for architectural and technical changes, incidents, enhancements, and projects, including offer management
- Plan and execute architecture and technical upgrades, changes, and transformation projects
- Oversee the technical setup, maintenance, and continuous optimization of the defined architecture landscape
- Manage operational relationships with internal customers, external vendors, and service providers
- Take ownership of budget planning and tracking, audit management, and process establishment/improvement
- Build, scale, lead, and develop global teams in a dynamic ramp-up environment
- Ensure high service quality, operational stability, and continuous improvement across the Learning IT ecosystem
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience and understanding of Learning IT environments and learning technology ecosystems
- 5–10 years of experience in IT Service Management, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Approximately 10 years of experience in operational Architecture Management
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing global and cross-functional teams
- 5–10 years of Project Management experience, including successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget
- Strong understanding of budget planning and financial management
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ramp-up or transformation environment with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory); German language skills are considered a strong advantage
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across international teams and vendors
