This role is APAC Zone Leader for Mendix RapidMiner Go-To-Market (GTM) will lead the industry strategy and business development efforts for the APAC Mendix and RapidMiner within Siemens Digital Industries Software. The primarily responsible for driving the overall GTM strategy and achieving the zone's revenue targets for Mendix and RapidMiner across the APAC region.
 
The Zone Leader will manage, work in close collaboration with and influence various GTM functions, including Sales (Specialized Account Executives and Sales Managers), Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Presales, Partner, Customer Success, and Services teams, to implement a multi-product, multi-market GTM strategy for this dedicated joint salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the overall GTM strategy and execution for Mendix and RapidMiner across the APAC region, ensuring the achievement of zone ARR, revenue and bookings targets.
  • Collaborate closely and align with Country Managers and Vertical leadership across the region. This role requires strong management by influence, navigating areas where direct control and hierarchy may differ, to achieve shared business objectives and ensure Mendix and RapidMiner GTM success.
  • Lead and manage (direct and indirect – through a matrix organization) a team of Sales Managers, provide strategic guidance and support, helping them develop and execute business plans that drive pipeline and ARR growth for Mendix and RapidMiner. Ensure effective territory planning to fuel top account expansion and establish clear paths to quota attainment.
  • Manage a matrix organization that is build based on multiple disciplines, roles, reporting lines and changes. Short term (12 – 18 months) focus of the role to guide the collective team through a changing organization, specifically calling out the recent merging of two sales organizations and respective product portfolio; not excluding any future acquisitions.
  • Proactively collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders, providing regular updates on Mendix and RapidMiner business performance, strategic direction, and plans to achieve success.
  • Shape and execute the regional partner and channel strategy for Mendix and RapidMiner, leveraging local market relationships to expand revenue opportunities.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on agility, metrics, and scalability across the Mendix and RapidMiner GTM ecosystem, ensuring business objectives are met efficiently.
  • Cultivate a strong, collaborative team culture focused on Mendix and RapidMiner success.
  • Drive operational excellence through a structured cadence of pipeline reviews, opportunity management, AE performance analysis, and weekly forecasts for Mendix and RapidMiner.
 
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales functions within high-growth environments, particularly in the APAC region, across multiple product lines, with a strong emphasis on achieving revenue targets in a matrixed organization.
  • Extensive experience in sales leadership, with 10+ years in sales and at least 5 years of experience leading GTM efforts across multiple regions in APAC as a second line leader (leading managers) or in a significant influencing role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build, and lead through influence in complex organizational structures.
  • Strong experience in business-to-business SaaS sales, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Transformational leader with a proven ability to inspire, coach, and mentor teams to consistently exceed targets, leveraging influence effectively beyond direct reporting lines.
  • Demonstrates exceptional navigation skills to guide initiatives and teams through dynamic and evolving environments.
  • Operates effectively with minimal direction and leads through uncertainty
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strategic thinking and tactical execution capabilities.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Location: Singapore or other APAC locations (flexible depending on candidate profile).
