• Identification and elicitation of development requirements, review of specifications and architecture
• Design, execute and evaluate integration and regression tests on IO module prototypes (analog/digital circuits, communication interfaces).
• Perform hands-on measurements, analyse results and collaborate with developers on root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain automated test libraries and scripts in Python (occasionally C#) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, set up and maintain test environments (test racks, wiring, PLC programs, measurement equipment).
• Leverage AI to optimize test procedures and workflows.
• Maintain test documentation (test plans, reports) and participate in specification and strategy reviews.

• Embed AI into everyday engineering workflows (from requirements to release) to boost speed, quality, and collaboration
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Experience with PLC programming; TIA Portal is an advantage.
• Basic programming skills in Python or C#.

• Basic hands-on experience with electrical measurement equipment.
• Electrical qualification according to applicable legislation (level §6 or higher) is an advantage.
