The Mainline Projects and Solutions Manager (Signaling & Interlocking) is responsible for integrating technical and business perspectives across the lifecycle of rail infrastructure projects. The role drives technical decision-making, supports bid and project execution, ensures successful project delivery, and builds strong stakeholder relationships. It contributes to business growth, knowledge development, and the localization of expertise in rail signaling and interlocking systems.

We are looking for a Manager Sales and Projects (Mainline Rail Sector).

Main responsibilities:
  • Bridge technical and business aspects of Mainline (signaling & interlocking) projects.
  • Contribute to technical decision-making across bidding and execution phases.
  • Plan, budget, schedule, and deliver technical projects within the segment.
  • Build and maintain strong, results-oriented relationships with customers and partners.
  • Develop deep expertise in rail signaling and interlocking systems.
  • Support bidding, market entry, project acquisition, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
Your Superpowers:
  • Degree in engineering (preferably signaling systems) with expertise or strong learning capability in mainline technologies (e.g. signaling, interlocking, ETCS).
  • Ability to link engineering solutions to business impact.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex projects end-to-end.
  • Strong customer focus with ownership of requirements and outcomes.
  • Effective collaboration and influencing across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Results-driven, structured mindset, with willingness to travel and strong English skills (German/Spanish a plus).
