What will you do?
As an Indirect Sales – Building Automation Channel Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving indirect sales through Building Automation Solutions Partners (Value Added Partners) within your assigned territory.
Territory: Eastern Canada (Quebec & Maritimes)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and grow strategic relationships with Automation Solutions Partners to achieve or exceed regional sales targets.
- Execute territory growth strategies and partner business plans aligned with Siemens objectives.
- Identify partner capability gaps (technical, sales, delivery) and coordinate enablement through training, certification, tools, and portfolio alignment.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new qualified partners to expand market coverage and increase market share.
- Drive partner readiness for new portfolio introductions, product launches, and digital solutions in collaboration with Product, Portfolio, and Technical teams.
- Support partner onboarding and progression within Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings partner programs, in accordance with Partner Transformation Model (PTM) governance and classification frameworks.
- Actively promote and drive Siemens specifications across the assigned territory.
- Effectively utilize CRM tools, including Salesforce, to manage pipeline, forecasting, and reporting.
- Lead mutual business planning with partners, including performance objectives, financial targets, and execution metrics.
Expanded Responsibilities:
In addition to the above, the Territory Manager will own, support, and execute the territory partner strategy across multiple partner models, including:
- Distributors and resellers
- OEM partners
- Installers and certified service partners
What will you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree or technical college diploma in a relevant technical field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation sales.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate technical solutions into customer value.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and French (written and verbal).
- Self‑motivated and able to structure work independently from a home office, with occasional in‑office presence for meetings, training, or workshops.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license in good standing and eligibility to participate in the Siemens vehicle program.
