Supply Chain Management & Logistics Professional
Siemens Smart Infrastructure – Buildings | Singapore

Shape the future of smart buildings in Singapore

At Siemens Smart Infrastructure (SI) Buildings, we enable customers to create safe, sustainable and intelligent buildings. Our projects span complex building technologies, digital solutions and long-term customer partnerships across ASEAN.

To strengthen our project logistics capability, we are looking for an experienced SCM & Logistics Professional who takes ownership, proactively drives topics, and serves as a reliable operational partner to project teams. This role is key to ensuring smooth material flow, transparency and delivery reliability in demanding project environments.

Your role – what really matters...

As Supply Chain Management & Logistics Professional, you are the operational backbone of project logistics execution. You work closely with the project teams, suppliers and logistics service providers to ensure that materials arrive accurately, safely and on schedule – even when conditions change.
You don’t just follow processes: you actively analyze situations, anticipate risks and propose practical solutions to keep projects moving.

  • Orchestrate Project Fulfilment:
Coordinate end to end logistics activities across suppliers, forwarders and sites to ensure reliable and punctual customer supply.
  • Maintain Data Integrity:
Update, monitor and communicate logistics-relevant master data, such as delivery schedules, stock and order status and contract information, in SAP and related systems.
  • Drive Logistics Agility:
Continuously assess operational status and develop alternative logistics concepts to respond to site changes, transport disruptions or supply constraints.
  • Manage Material Visibility:
Prepare and actively communicate clear status, milestone and shortage reports to enable project teams to make timely decisions.
  • Resolve Logistics Discrepancies:
Lead the documentation and processing of transport damages, claims, and complaints, working closely with Insurance, Quality, Engineering and service providers.
  • Steer Site Demobilization:
Coordinate the return of on site equipment, containers and logistics infrastructure, ensuring cost efficient and timely asset recovery.
  • Engineer Contingency Plans:
Support logistics risk assessments and the calculation of mitigation measures to strengthen project resilience against supply chain disruptions.
  • Support Strategic Tendering:
Contribute logistics expertise to supplier evaluations and tender preparation, helping secure competitive, executable project solutions.
  • Optimization and automation of supply chain processes:
Lead and drive a holistic transformation of supply chain operations by identifying inefficiencies, standardizing workflows and implementing automation solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, visibility and cost performance across the entire value chain.

What you bring...

You are an experienced logistics professional who thrives in project environments and takes pride in making complex operations work – often under pressure.

  • Project logistics experience:
5-10 years of experience in project based logistics or supply chain coordination, ideally in infrastructure, building technologies, energy or industrial projects.
  • Data driven execution mindset:
Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), with a clear understanding that reliable execution depends on clean and transparent data.
  • Hands on problem solving attitude:
A proactive, solution oriented mindset with the ability to react quickly when plans change and develop pragmatic alternatives.
  • Proactive and self-driven mindset:
Continuously identify opportunities for improvement, propose solutions and lead improvement efforts independently.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills:
Confident communication with internal project teams, site managers, international suppliers, freight forwarders and service providers.
  • Financial and cost awareness:
Ability to support logistics cost calculations and assess service providers based on both performance and cost efficiency.
  • Quality and safety focus:
Good understanding of transport safety, insurance processes, and quality standards for technically complex and high value equipments.
Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross functional and multicultural teams.
Business fluent English; experience in an international environment is an advantage.

What sets you apart

  • You take full ownership of your topics and drive them independently.
  • You see issues before they escalate and act early and proactively.
  • You think beyond your immediate scope and understand the bigger project picture.
  • You remain calm, structured, and reliable – even when things get complex.
  • You enjoy improving logistics processes, not just executing them.

What we offer

  • A key logistics role with real impact on project success
  • Close collaboration with experienced project, engineering and logistics professionals
  • A professional, inclusive and collaborative working environment
  • Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with local market standards
