We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer (Integrator) – KAVACH & Interlocking

You’ll make a difference by:

• Responsible for planning and executing system integration and related testing of KAVACH and Interlocking systems, along with ownership of simulators, lab infrastructure, and hardware setup, ensuring readiness for validation of SIL-2 and SIL-4 systems.
• Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute integration activities and integration testing across KAVACH subsystems (ECC, Radio, RIU) and Interlocking (IXL)
• Perform functional and interface testing aligned with SyRS and ICDs, including SIL-2 / SIL-4 behavior validation
• Maintain and operate simulators (KAVACH onboard, IXL, RIU) ensuring availability, configuration, and stability for testing
• Own and maintain the integration/test lab, including hardware setup, network configuration, and environment readiness
• Perform rack assembly, power supply setup, and HW module integration for test setups
• Manage BOM, hardware inventory, warranty, and obsolescence tracking for lab and test infrastructure
• Identify defects during integration, support analysis, and validate fixes through re-testing
• Maintain test documentation, logs, and execution reports, including status and issue tracking

• Role is restricted to integration and testing activities
• No ownership of requirements, system design, or architecture
• Skills & Experience
• 5–8 years of experience in railway / embedded system integration & testing
• Knowledge of KAVACH / ETCS / Interlocking systems
• Experience with SIL-based systems (SIL-2 / SIL-4) preferred
• Hands-on experience in hardware setup, simulators, and lab environments
• Additional Requirement
• Willingness to travel within India and internationally as per project needs
