We are looking for: IT Solution Expert – SAP MM / Procurement SaaS Solutions

You’ll make an impact by:

• Acting as a solution expert within a global IT organization and actively supporting the transformation of our procurement processes and tool landscape towards a global, SaaS‑based Procure‑to‑Receipt solution.
• Analyzing and translating business requirements in the area of indirect procurement (e.g. purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, release strategies, output management) into appropriate configurations and customizations within a SaaS-based, multi-ERP environment built on SAP S/4HANA.
• Designing, implementing, testing, and documenting system configurations and customizations in line with business and IT standards.
• Overseeing and managing interfaces, workflows, and automations between the SaaS procurement solution, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Ensuring a smooth handover of deployed solution increments into service operations, including coordination with external service providers and training of end users and business stakeholders.
• Monitoring and managing the operational health, performance, and availability of the solution in close collaboration with external service providers.
• Defining, monitoring, and reporting on service level agreements (SLAs), key operational performance metrics and financial status.
• Coordinating incident and problem management, including root cause analysis, to ensure timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
• Collecting and evaluating end-user and business feedback to identify improvement opportunities, resolve issues, and continuously enhance the user experience.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including process descriptions, system configurations, service procedures, and knowledge base articles / wiki pages.
• Staying up to date with SAP and procurement related SaaS innovations, including new features, releases, standard processes, and industry trends, to continuously improve tool adoption and service experience.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application management and project delivery, with a solid focus on procurement related processes and technology stack based on SAP S/4 MM, SAP Build Process Automation and AI (BTP), SAP Ariba Buying / Central Procurement or similar non-SAP SaaS technology.
• Deep understanding of Procure to Pay / Procure to Receipt processes.
• Demonstrable experience in working in global, complex and multi-ERP SAP based landscapes ensuring operational excellence, including demand, configuration, incident, problem, and change management.
• Solid knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.
• Familiarity with SAP’s S/4 ERP architecture, data model, interfaces, settings, and configurations.
• Experience with SAP BTP in context with process automation, API management and connection of SaaS products is an advantage.
• Superb communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and partner leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, take ownership, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team‑player mindset in a distributed, international environment within a global enterprise.
• A collaborative attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvements.
