At Siemens GBS in Ostrava we’re on the lookout for a Junior Administrator of Software Licenses who has a eye for a details and enjoys communication in English. Do you already have some experience with license management or software administration? 


If so, then you are the right candidate for us!


In our Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) we purchase materials and services for the worldwide Siemens companies and offer them our expertise. We prepare tenders, select suitable suppliers or file vendor data and contracts into different procurement tools.


What is our team doing?


The software asset management team provides active support and access to software and licenses to end users within the Siemens company on a global level. Colleagues from our team are in daily contact with users from all over the world, as we provide this service centrally, for all Siemens Corporation employees. 

Our team is growing dynamically and therefore we are currently looking for a new full-time colleague!


You will be responsible for:


  • Administration of the license pool: assignment of licenses, processing the orders and license transfers
  • Providing sources and license keys for software installation
  • Communication with internal customers and license managers within Siemens Corporation
  • Answering questions from end-users and processing user requests

We work continuously on improving our processes and need someone who will gain deep process knowledge in teams responsibilities and processes and will not be afraid of taking lead in identification of automation potential and implementation of optimization opportunities within this process.


Here's what you should bring to the table for a successful application: 

  • great communication skills - English on communicative level (written and verbal) at least B2 is a must
  • Previous experience in software administration, license management or similar is a benefit but not a must
  • Orientation on details and coordination skills
  • Working independently, time management and good prioritization skills
  • Nice to have: German languages on basic level
