Electrification & Automation

The Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.

We are seeking a Sr. Marketing and Communications Specialist for our team in Wendell, NC.

In this role, you will help drive business growth through integrated marketing and communications initiatives by developing and executing marketing strategies, creating compelling campaigns and content, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen market presence and support business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong B2B marketing experience, excellent communications skills, and the ability to align messaging and marketing efforts with Siemens’ broader business vision.

You will make a difference with these duties:

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with business leadership and cross-functional teams to develop strategic marketing plans that align with business objectives and strengthen Siemens’ market position.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, events, trade shows, social media, and traditional advertising.
  • Brand Awareness: Lead initiatives that increase brand visibility and recognition in target markets while ensuring consistent messaging and adherence to brand guidelines across all marketing materials.
  • Content Creation: Partner with subject matter experts to develop compelling marketing and communications content, including brochures, whitepapers, case studies, videos, presentations, and messaging for internal and external audiences.
  • Communications Planning: Support internal and external communications initiatives by developing clear, audience-appropriate messaging and communication materials that align with business priorities and brand standards.
  • Digital Marketing: Plan, manage, and evaluate digital marketing programs, including website content, email marketing, and social media campaigns, to support demand generation and customer engagement.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use marketing analytics tools to measure campaign and program performance and provide management with regular insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Event Management: Coordinate and support the planning and execution of industry events, conferences, and webinars that showcase Siemens’ systems and solutions and reinforce thought leadership.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity, and translate insights into marketing strategy and decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with sales, product management, communications, and other internal teams to align marketing initiatives, messaging, and business priorities to create greater impact across the organization.
  • Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, allocating resources strategically to maximize return on investment.

You’ll win us over with the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience with the following:
    • B2B marketing experience, including development and execution of integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that drive measurable business impact.
    • Hands-on digital marketing expertise across social media, content marketing, and demand generation.
    • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), with the ability to develop audience-focused messaging and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
    • Proven content development experience, including whitepapers, case studies, articles, and internal/external communications materials.
    • Highly organized and self-directed, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
    • Effective cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced, global environments.
    • Proficiency in creating visually compelling materials, including PowerPoint presentations and marketing collateral (brochures, flyers) using Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Curious and adaptable, with a strong interest in marketing innovation and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B marketing within the power equipment industry.
  • Experience using marketing technology platforms, content management systems, and marketing automation tools.

The pay range for this position is 66,973 - 114,811 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
