Key Responsibility

• Managing the uptime and standardization of Business specific IT assets required for Building management operations.
• Support location team for site level network diagram that includes system architecture, passive infrastructure assets, cable routing and updating periodically. 
• IT Asset management and adherence to SRE Passive IT infrastructure roadmap for both running sites and new projects.
• Leading IT Infrastructure project and support SRE projects for IT related topics including finalization of BOQ, redundancy and security of IT infrastructure.
• Ensuring software updates and selection of infrastructure in compliance to Siemens IT for optimum life cycle management
• Ensuring AMC renewals and warranties in place for all SRE IT Owned assets.
• Managing service agreements with OEMs and service providers including scope definition, escalation handling, and performance reviews.
• Creating and maintaining Project Documentation of IT infrastructure setups and ensuring audit and compliance readiness.
• Providing technical guidance to local site teams to manage IT infrastructure and vulnerabilities management.
• Acts as SRE IT coordinator for all SRE Projects associated with IT and passive networking for standards, approvals and escalations.  
• Coordinating with project teams, vendors, OEMs, and site stakeholders for planning, execution, and handover of IT infrastructure.
• Coordinating with Active Networking, Cybersecurity, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration of passive infrastructure.
• Providing remote support in major incident or shut-down situation or escalation topics related to passive network infrastructure.

Required Competencies

• Minimum Year of experience: 5–7 years in IT networking with strong exposure to passive infrastructure in industrial or building environments.
• Qualification: BE or ME electronics / IT / Computer Science, B.Sc.-IT, relevant IT or networking certifications preferred
• Specialized Skills: IT project management in exploring industrial & building IT facilities.
• Personal Attributes: The applicant must have the ability to organize, prioritize and produce results to meet deadlines and work in close collaboration with customers and stakeholders. Good team-working skills are a must. 
• Programming Skills: Networking skills, basic Python exposure, Microsoft tools, Power BI, Advanced excel for reporting
• Cloud: Knowledge of AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms and experience in working with cloud-based services is a plus 
• Compliance & Standards: Working knowledge of Siemens IT standards, basic cybersecurity requirements, and infrastructure compliance.
• Strong capability in end‑to‑end data handling - from collecting, cleansing, validating, and analyzing large datasets to applying trend, variance, forecasting, & anomaly analysis, while ensuring data quality and clear visualization for diverse stakeholders.
• Hands‑on proficiency in high‑level programming (e.g., Python, Java, C#) to automate data processing, build dashboards and analytical tools, and develop custom system integrations using APIs and middleware to support IT and business decision‑making.
