For our Sales Regions business team, we are looking for a Pilot Machine Development Engineer to help us drive pilot machine realization within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.

You'll make an impact by

• During the pilot machine development stage, by leveraging professional technical capabilities (product knowledge, application skills, motion control skills, and mechatronics capabilities), organize and coordinate internal and partner technical resources based on the customer's requirements to provide the customer with the most optimal solution, ensure the smooth implementation of the pilot machine, enhance the customer's market competitiveness, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
• Mainly responsible for pilot machine realization for OEM business in Sales Regions, generating additional system and application business, and increasing OEM market share.
• Implement the pilot machine development work based on the Pilot Machine Technical Solution Design Document provided by Technical Sales.
• Work out references for application knowledge accumulation based on the pilot machine and provide the pilot machine report.
• Carry out functional validation for system business.
• For after-sales support work, resolve issues related to machine performance and algorithms.
• Assist lead engineers/experts in solving some of the complex tasks.
• Carry out the development work of complex pilot machines.

Your defining qualities

• Broad knowledge in Siemens product portfolio and applications.
• Capability of implementing the pilot machine development work independently based on the provided solution.
• Standardized programming skills and virtual simulation capability.
• Ability to organize and coordinate eco-partner engineers via a "project management" mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to extract and summarize knowledge points.
• Team player with an excellent service attitude and learning capability.
• Hard-working with self-motivation, a high degree of flexibility, and mobility.
• Minimum 2 years of pilot machine development experience, or minimum 5 years of engineering experience (designing, programming, installation, commissioning) in Industrial Automation; certain branch application experience is preferred.
• Experience working with industrial automation components like PLC, HMI (Human Machine Interface), drive technology, and industrial communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Automation, Computer Science, or Mechatronics Engineering.
