Material Flow and Intralogistics Specialist

Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics. The topics of digitalization and simulations support us in planning for the future and in implementation.
Based in Oradea, we are looking for a Material Flow and Intralogistics Specialist
to help us optimize and manage our engineering activities.
What part will you play?
· Lead the Intralogistics (Warehouse) team.
· Identify, trouble-shoot and root-cause material flow issues to permanently improve material replenishment logics. Support Operations on improving and automating the Change Management Process for daily process & part changes.
· Set up configurations in the Material Flow System between storage areas and production lines to ensure automatic supply of material based on diverse material replenishment logics. Work with IT to leverage the full capabilities of the systems (i.e. SAP, scanning etc.) and identify and implement improvements.
· Maintain and update the material flow data of material masters in SAP. SAP interface support ensuring the system-based value flow.
· Develop work instructions and training activities for warehouse/internal logistic personnel for specific inbound/outbound transactions or scanner usage and on the material flow process.
· Drive the inventory control program on site and ensure all key stakeholders provide full support and compliance to maintain accuracy. Lead the inventory control team and ensure all operational activities are on track (cycle counting, COGI reconciliation, physical material storage setup, Control Audits). Conduct analysis to identify the issues effecting inventory inaccuracy and perform reporting on inventories.
· Support the Logistics Manager with analytic insights to drive improvements in logistics optimization: material handling efficiency, inventory accuracy, storage utilization, labelling, service level improvement and freight optimization. Data-supported evaluation, analysis and improvement of the material flow including productivity assessment.
· Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction projects across the supply chain.
· Administrative support for optimization and monitoring of logistics processes, for automated systems in the logistics process and for external logistics service providers.
· Quotation process, triggering and tracking logistics orders and their invoicing via digital tools
What you need to make real what matters.
· Bachelor or Master’s degree preferably in business administration, industrial engineering or logistics.
· Minimum of 3-5 additional years of professional experience in Warehouse, Materials Flow and Planning activities.
· Very good proficiency English (spoken & written) is an absolute must to this role since you work in an international environment. Proficiency of German is a big benefit.
· A very good understanding of SAP R/3 or SAP S4 (MM module) and openness to AI-driven or RPA-optimized planning tools
· Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and basic knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes / Value stream optimization.
· Good MS Office experience, including excellent spreadsheet skills.
· Basic knowledge of project management, having at least partially managed smaller projects
· Proven analytical and organizational ability.
· Highly analytical with persuasive abilities.
· Able to work autonomously and be a proactive problem solver with effective problem identification and solution skills, including ability to lead smaller process improvement projects.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Personally, you are a great in teamwork and putting things into practice.
· Innovations (digitalization, data analytics, process improvements) are your passion and you also drive them forward independently.
· 2-3 business trips per year to Germany are not a problem for you.
