Backoffice IT Specialist (Polarion) with English and German - m/f/d

At Siemens GBS we're looking for a Backoffice IT Specialist to join our service management team in Ostrava.
About the role:
This job position is a central interface function between customers, IT, service and development teams. It is an independent role that ensures stable and well-structured background operations and supports operational units through coordination, system and process responsibility as well as 2nd-level support of internal Polarion application.
What You'll Do:
- System & Data Administration: Manage Polarion applications and ensure stable operations.
- Customer Interface & Coordination: Act as central contact between customers, IT, and service teams. Participate in customer meetings.
- 2nd-Level Support: Analyze complex technical tickets and provide knowledge transfer to 1st-level support.
- License & Contract Management: Oversee licenses, contracts, and external provider relationships.
We're seeking colleagues who are:
- Service-Oriented: Service Desk experience is highly welcomed but not required - we'll train you in our internal processes! What matters most is your customer-focused approach.
- Excellent Communicator: You can communicate confidently with our German-speaking customers and collaborate effectively with our international teams in English (B2 level in both languages is required).
- Technical: Microsoft Office proficiency, system administration experience (preferably Polarion ALM), IT service management background are advantageous.
- Independent Problem-Solver: Work autonomously and develop practical solutions to technical challenges.
