Today, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What Are My Responsibilities?
- Define and implement the overall warehouse and storage concept to ensure alignment with operational and maintenance requirements.
- Manage warehouse and storage operations across the designated depot and warehouse locations supporting the three High-Speed Rail lines.
- Lead and supervise Store Supervisors, Storekeepers, warehouse staff, and subcontractors involved in warehouse and logistics activities.
- Develop and implement warehousing procedures, material handling rules, and inventory control processes.
- Coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material flow and stock availability.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of adequate storage facilities and warehouse infrastructure.
- Ensure proper receipt, storage, issuance, transfer, and return of materials, maintaining complete traceability and accurate documentation.
- Maintain transparency and accuracy of inventory records, stock movements, and material transactions.
- Monitor consumables and spare parts usage rates and ensure timely replenishment before critical stock levels are reached.
- Utilize and maintain warehouse data within CMMS, SAP, or other ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Ensure correct material identification, labeling, marking, and organized storage arrangements.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound material movements with maintenance, procurement, logistics teams, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders, including inter-site transfers.
- Monitor and supervise stock counts, inventory audits, and stock reporting activities.
- Support the control and maintenance of warehouse tools, equipment, and storage assets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and quality requirements within warehouse operations.
- Support handling and disposal of scrap, waste, and non-conforming materials in accordance with approved procedures.
- Contribute to budget control, stock optimization, and resource management within the assigned function.
What Do I Need to Qualify for This Job?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material management within project-based environments.
- Experience in warehouse coordination, inventory control, and material traceability.
- Exposure to import/export operations is considered an advantage.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Solid computer literacy, including experience with CMMS, SAP, ERP systems, and warehouse management software.
- Good understanding of warehouse tools, equipment, and material handling practices.
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and quality assurance practices.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to manage warehouse personnel effectively.
- Ability to work in multicultural and cross-functional project environments.
- Good physical condition and compliance with Fitness Class 2 requirements.
