We are looking for SW Scripting Specialist
You’ll make a difference by
You will be part of the Engineering team for new and exciting software applications. Your area of responsibility includes-
- You will be a core developer for our test automation tool suites, creating robust desktop applications and tools that enable efficient testing in both lab environments and on developer laptops.
- Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing sophisticated Python-based applications and scripts to automate test processes, manage test data, and integrate with various testing frameworks for use by other testers.
- As a technical expert, you'll continuously work on documenting and enhancing best practices for test automation, tool development, and contribute to our knowledge database, ensuring high-quality and user-friendly solutions.
- In our agile and DevOps-oriented culture, you'll collaborate with internationally distributed teams across Germany, India, and Hungary, providing essential tool development for our testing infrastructure.
- You'll share your practical experiences and technical solutions within the team and the broader Mobility community, fostering knowledge exchange and promoting advanced test automation strategies.
- You will train and support colleagues in their daily work with our test tool suites, focusing on how these tools can optimize their testing efforts and ensure quality standards.
Desired Skills:
- We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, electronics, computer science or a comparable qualification.
- Successfully completed technical studies in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, or mechatronics (bachelor's/master's degree).
- Excellent programming skills and extensive experience with Python (mandatory) for developing desktop applications, scripting, and automation tools.
- Experience with Java is a plus, particularly for integrating with existing systems or developing complementary tool components.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies; practical experience with test automation frameworks is a significant advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Your way of working is characterized by a high degree of solution orientation, strong analytical skills, and a practical approach to problem-solving, particularly in the context of complex testing environments.
- You enjoy working with colleagues from different departments and locations, and are skilled at explaining technical solutions and automation benefits to a diverse audience.
- Very good written and spoken English skills.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work model available after initial probation period of 6 months
- Collaboration with global teams
- Travel may be required (10-20%) depending upon requirement.
- Able to accommodate international work schedules.
