You'll make an impact by

  • You work with U.S. Product Lifecycle Managers to define technical and operational requirements for new products, systems, and solutions, ensure compliance with IEEE standards and U.S.-specific regulations, and are responsible for integrating the requirements into factory planning, cost structures, and capability roadmaps.
  • You monitor factory performance, e.g. material costs, conversion costs, throughput, and productivity, identify cost deviations, trace them back together with PLM Finance to technical or process-related root causes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You validate technical assumptions, ensure compliance with U.S. standards and customer expectations, coordinate cost impact analyses for global product design changes, and work closely with U.S. Product Lifecycle Management, PLM, and research and development.
  • You define and challenge productivity and cost reduction targets and evaluate optimization levers based on technical process constraints, asset utilization, and scalability.
