We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our Siemens Smart Infrastructure division, focusing on Power Distribution. This position will play a critical role in advancing our market footprint through a strategic, multi-branch electrical contractor (Miller Electric). The successful candidate will report to the Area Sales Manager and be responsible for driving strategic growth/market share, sales targets, and ensure customer satisfaction.

This position will be remote in Jacksonville metro areas.
Role Description
You’ll make an impact by:
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and market growth.
- Build/maintain strong relationships and drive influence with key decision-makers for a national contractor.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the contractor’s national footprint.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Address and resolve customer issues and concerns promptly.
- Conduct regular meetings and quarterly business reviews with the key account to review performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive sales initiatives and campaigns to achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the strategic national account team and their target general contractors to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Work closely with other divisions within Siemens Smart Infrastructure to leverage synergies and drive integrated solutions.
- Coordinate with product management, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to the Area Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director.
- Utilize CRM tools to track and manage customer interactions and sales activities.
- Ensure adherence to Siemens’ policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Promote a culture of integrity and compliance within the team.
You will win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in working in the power distribution market and awareness of its key players.
- 5+ years’ experience in sales/account management within the power distribution or related industry.
- Ability to travel 20-30% of the time, as needed, to support locations outside of the Jacksonville market and participate in trade shows/industry conferences.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of demonstrated sales/account management experience.
- Proven experience in account management within the power distribution or related industry.

The pay range for this position is $74,970.00 - $156,794.00 annually plus an uncapped commission structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
